Kelowna Atheists, Skeptics and Humanists Association (KASHA) originally started as a Centre for Inquiry group based in Kelowna in 2011.
KASHA is now an independent non-profit group registered in BC. We work with and support CFI-Canada and BC Humanists.
Kelowna Atheists, Skeptics and Humanists Association is a non-partisan body that seeks to foster a secular community guided by reason, science, freedom of inquiry and humanistic values.
We are a community of freethinking people who put on events, workshops, conferences and work to promote critical thinking and evidence based reasoning in Kelowna and in the Okanagan for greater community and cooperation.
At KASHA we focus on these areas:
1. Human Rights
4. Secular Humanism
In all of these areas, we work to promote a scientific and secular humanist life stance, one that challenges established norms and customs and one that believes in the freedom of all individuals to ask important questions about life, nature and the world around them.
