Plan International is a global movement for change, mobilizing millions of people around the world to support social justice for children in developing countries.

Spread the Net Against Malaria.  This is now part of Plan Canada.

Since 2007, Spread the Net has helped to protect the lives of almost 32 million people by contributing to the delivery of over 15.3 million malaria-preventing bed nets to families in Africa.

Doctors Without Borders / MSF

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical, humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters, and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender, or political affiliation.

Stephen Lewis Foundation:  Grandmothers-to-Grandmothers’ Campaign

The Stephen Lewis Foundation’s Grandmothers-to-Grandmothers’ Campaign is a dynamic movement of thousands of grandmothers and grandothers, belonging to 240 grandmothers’ groups across Canada … and beyond!  Launched in 2006, the Campaign was a Canadian grassroots’ response to the emerging crisis faced by African grandmothers as they struggled to care for millions of children orphaned by AIDS.
