Look for us at the covered picnic structure. We do not book the space, so we may have to move for people that have booked the space.
Bring your own chair; you may or may not need it.

September 8, 2021Are you a visible minority in Canada? Do you feel sometimes that you are racialized here in Canada?
Have you heard of the term intersectionality? Do you know what it means? Sometimes one hears new terms but it is hard to know what it can mean for you.
We think these can be interesting questions to discuss as being a racialized atheist/agnostic comes with questions of identity that are our own and that are imposed by others.

We will be meeting at the Gellatly Nut Farm Regional Park. This park is on Whitworth Road which is accessed by Gellatly Road South. Gellatly Road South connects Highway 97 at the interchange by Gorman's Mill to The Cove, which is on the lake.
We will be practicing physical distancing, as per BC Health Guidelines.
Please bring your own coffee and muffin; we cannot share food.
Please bring your own lawn chair.
We will be meeting near the picnic table which is closest to the washrooms. We will have a sign on the table.
We will be meeting on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month.

Our annual KASHA picnic will be at Boyce-Gyro Beach Park on Lakeshore Drive. It's the one with the big red apple!
Boyce-Gyro Beach Park has a beach and a lovely picnic area.
We will be practicing physical distancing, as per BC Health Guidelines.
Look for the KASHA signs near the beach.
We will NOT be sharing food, so please bring your own lunch, non- alcoholic drinks, and snacks.
At 12:30 pm, we will enjoy our own lunches.
