BC Humanists – The British Columbia Humanist Association is the oldest organization of freethinkers in the Lower Mainland. For over 25 years, they have provided a community for humanists, atheists, agnostics, and other freethinkers in Vancouver and across the province.
They host regular discussions, social events, book clubs, cafes, and guest lecturers. They also put their beliefs into actions. http://bchumanist.ca/
Humanist Canada–Humanist Canada works to promote the separation of religion from public policy and foster the development of reason, compassion and critical thinking for all Canadians through secular education and community support. http://humanistcanada.ca/
The Canadian Secular Alliance is a non-profit, public policy research and advocacy organization advancing church-state separation and the neutrality of government in matters of religion. We seek to represent all Canadians, religious and non-religious alike, who believe that the Canadian government should adopt public policies consistent with a secular state.
The CSA believes in church-state separation—the idea that the government of Canada should not favour one religion over others, or religious belief over non-belief. Our commitment is to liberal-democratic principles of equality, fairness and justice for all under the law, regardless of religious belief or lack thereof. http://secularalliance.ca/
International Humanist and Ethical Union–
We are the global representative body of the humanist movement, uniting a diversity of non-religious organisations and individuals.
We want everyone to live a life of dignity in a world where universal human rights are respected and protected, and where states uphold secularism.
We work to build, support and represent the global humanist movement, defending human rights, particularly those of non-religious people, and promoting humanist values world-wide.
