Flying Spaghetti Monster Picnic – Come Walk the Plank!

Argh, ahoy mates.
Calling all atheists, humanists, and skeptics! Come meet your community!
Set sail for a memorable afternoon filled with community, camaraderie, and culinary delights at KASHA’s Flying Spaghetti Monster Picnic.
The Flying Spaghetti Monster (FSM) was created as a parody religion to demonstrate that divinity is in one’s imagination. We can all participate in ritual, fun, and ethical behavior.
Many atheist and humanist groups from around the world have taken up the call from the Holy Flying Spaghetti Monster to challenge entrenched religious privilege and/or just to create a fun and ethical community. For more FSM info. – https://www.spaghettimonster.org/
KASHA will provide elongated meatballs in a pasta blanket (hot dog on a bun). Please bring a side dish, if you wish, and a non-alcoholic beverage (zero beer might be good; pirates love beer).
Please bring your own forks and plates
Dressing and talking like a pirate is optional, but can only add to the fun!
Remember to bring the FSM holy headgear – your favourite colander.
Pirate—and perhaps pasta—themed games will be played!
September 12, from 12 to 2 pm, Mission Creek Park’s gazebo (across from Leckie Road) will transform into the ultimate gathering spot for Flying Spaghetti Monster enthusiasts, pasta lovers, and fun seekers alike.
Want to fit in? Purchase a FSM tote at the next event for $28. Cash only.
